The Team Polti Kometa is a professional cycling structure of ProTeam category, registered with the International Cycling Union (UCI), and part of the Alberto Contador Foundation. Originating from youth and under-23 category development teams, in 2020, they took a crucial step by moving up to the Continental category, and in 2021, they achieved ProTeam status.
This team goes beyond on-road performance, playing a crucial role in product development for AURUM. Throughout 2020, all riders used the prototype of the MAGMA model, covering thousands of kilometers, facilitating a rigorous testing process before its market launch. This collaboration has proven essential in refining bikes and ensuring their outstanding quality and performance.
In addition to their role as a testing ground for AURUM, the Team Polti Kometa has already competed in three consecutive editions of the Giro d’Italia (2021, 2022, and 2023), achieving two thrilling victories in this prestigious race. This underscores their commitment to excellence in cycling and their ability to achieve notable triumphs.
