Scotland, land of travel with MANTO
If you don’t know Angèle Paty, she’s the first AURUM ambassador in France. She’s a fearless young cyclist.
To inaugurate MANTO on her first bike trip, Angèle decided to travel to Scotland. A country that means a lot to her, since she made her first bike trip there at the age of 19. At that time, she went from Montpelier (southern of France) to the Outer Hebrides in north-west Scotland over a 2-month trip.
For this new journey, she set off for the Isle of Skye.
On May 2, 2024, Angèle began her cycling adventure in Glasgow, heading north to Fort William. Her half-road, half-gravel route took her along many of the paths of the West Highland Way, a famous hike linking Milngavie to Fort William.
Rough roads, uphill and fluctuating weather
All the ingredients were there to challenge Angèle on her MANTO gravel bike. Its precision, reactivity and lightness were fully exploited on roads that pushed Angèle to her limits.
For this trip, Angèle was accompanied by members of our team in order to record this first important project together.
We look forward to telling you more about it.
