AURUM RACE DAY EXPERIENCE | Giro d’Italia, May 22-24, will be the meeting point for all high-performance AURUM bicycles lovers.

A unique experience full of surprises. You can invite whoever you want, we take care of everything, hotel, transfers, bikes… Even the helmet! Everything is thought in order for you to live a unique and unforgettable experience, in the context of one of the best races of the year; the Giro d’Italia.

AURUM RACE DAY EXPERIENCE | Giro d’Italia, will be based on the Colonìa Resort hotel, Vittorio Veneto Provincia di Treviso, Italy.

RIDE “BORN FROM EXPERIENCE” WITH ALBERTO CONTADOR

The experience includes a bike ride with Alberto Contador through the same roads that the Giro d’Italia will travel on the next day’s stage, stage 16, ending in the Dolomite Alps (Cortina d’Ampezzo) and a private dinner with the winner of the three Grand Tours, where you can get up close to one of the best cyclists in history.

* There is a visit to the EOLO-KOMETA team planned, to enjoy a private experience. Get a closer look on how a Pro team gets ready for an alpine stage of the Giro. In order to carry with this activity all Covid-19 protocols must be followed and the team-bubble must be respected.


REGISTRATION

To be able gain access to one of the 4 registrations for two available people, send an email to marketing@aurumbikes.com, indicating “GIRO REGISTRATION” in the subject of the email, our department will contact you to formalize the registration and payment. Upon completion of the quota, on a first-come first-served basis, the registration period will close.

FAQ

WHEN AND WHERE IT STARTS, WHEN AND WHERE THE EVENT ENDS.

The event will begin on Saturday, May 22 at 16h, with the Meeting Point at the Colonìa Resort hotel, Vittorio Veneto Provincia di Treviso. The AURUM staff will take care of the transfer from Venice international airport, providing a car with driver, however the particular needs of each pair of assistants will be considered if necessary.

The event will end on Monday, May 24 at the end of the stage 16 of the Giro d’Italia, at the same hotel. We will facilitate the transfer to the nearest train stations or Venice International Airport.

Outside these periods, everyone is free to extend their stay.

WHAT DOES MY RESERVATION INCLUDE?

The trip to Treviso (and back home) is not included in the price.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Warm cycling clothing, in case the weather conditions are unfavourable (except helmet and goggles)
  • Summer cycling clothing.
  • Your cycling boots and your pedals.
  • Provide us with the measurements of your bike and your helmet plus your jersey and shorts size. (A PDF will be sent upon registration requesting this information)
  • Let us know if you have any allergies, illness or special diet.

HOW FIT I NEED TO BE?

If you regularly cycle with your AURUM Magma, you will have enough depth and pace to withstand Alberto Contador’s attacks in the Italian Alps. Jokes aside, the route and the pace will be according to the average of all AURUM owners who’ll attend the event.

DOES MY COMPANION HAVE TO BE A CYCLIST?

It’s recommended, since one of the activities is an outing with Alberto Contador on a winding route, in the Alps, where stage 16 of the race will pass.

CAN I GO WITHOUT A COMPANION?

Yes, there is no problem, but the experience is much more enriching if it’s shared.

CAN I BRING MY AURUM MAGMA?

Of course, we will also love if you tell us details about it.

RETURN POLICY

CANCELLATION WITH RETURN GUARANTEE – (OPTIONAL WARRANTY)

Cancellations produced before 05/08/2021 at 15h will have no costs attached and 100% of the registration fee will be reimbursed to the person who signed in. Any cancellation produced after 05/08/2021 at 15:01 will not have the right to any type of refund.

HOW TO REQUEST THE MONEY-BACK WARRANTY?

IMPORTANT: The money-back warranty must be contracted the same day the registration is made. Contracts will not be accepted after the management of the registry. To contract the money-back warranty, payment must be made by (option that we choose) through the registration form: € 200.

BASIC RULES GOVERNING THE WARRANTY

The participant who subscribes this guarantee in his own name declares that he has read and accepts:

First. The contracting of the money-back warranty can only be made on the same day of registration. No warranties will be accepted after registration has been completed.

Second. AURUM will make the refund from 05/08/2021 and up to 1 month after the event is held.

Third. To execute the cancellation process, the participant must send an email to AURUM (marketing@aurumbikes.com) communicating the withdrawal.

IMPORTANT: the amount will be refunded through the same payment system, that is, the amount will be credited to the account’s card with which the payment was made.

IMAGE RIGHTS

The participant authorizes the transfer of the photographs and audiovisual recordings of the event to the sponsors in order to proceed with the exploitation of these, for commercial and promotional purposes.

COVID-19

OUR STAFF — HEALTHY AND READY TO WELCOME YOU

Part of our responsibility is to have a healthy team and free of the COVID-19 virus. With this in mind, we will require our staff to take a PCR test within 48 hours of the trip start date. Furthermore, they will be fully briefed on the protocols and safety guidelines recommended by the national authorities of the country where your trip will take place.  As always, with our staff you will continue being in the best of hands.

IMPORTANT: In order to participate, we need attendees to come with a negative PCR within 48 hours prior to Saturday, May 22.

THE BEST HOTELS, NOW ALSO THE SAFEST

We realize that hotels are a key part of our trips. We must eat well and rest in order to take on the exciting race events of the day.  Thus we are working closely with all our hotels to ensure they have implemented the national safety guidelines to make your stay as safe, as calm, and as re-energizing as possible. Some of the measures implemented will include ensuring that the meeting rooms have enough space to allow social distancing and reducing our group sizes during meal times.
